Paris St-Germain beat Manchester United to £35million Lucas Moura

Big-spending Paris St-Germain last night beat Manchester United to the signature of Brazil's 19-year-old winger Lucas Moura for a reported £35million (€45million).

An announcement on the Qatari-backed Ligue 1’s side website confirmed that the player had signed a four-year contract and would join from Sao Paulo in January. The fee was undisclosed.
'By signing a young talent of the quality of Lucas Rodrigues Moura Da Silva, Paris Saint-Germain is already preparing (for) the future,' said the French side.
The youngster was also being chased by Inter Milan, who at one point were favourites to sign him along with United.
PSG have spent over £80million in the summer transfer window, signing Napoli's Argentine striker Ezequiel Lavezzi, and AC Milan's Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Thiago Silva.
Man United boss Sir Alex Ferguson was left frustrated after missing out on the Brazilian and said the game had 'gone mad' after PSG paid the reported huge sum for the youngster.
'I find it quite amazing that a club can pay 45million euros for a 19-year-old boy,' said the United boss.
Moura is currently preparing for Saturday’s Olympic final against Mexico
