Lucas Moura's parents travelled to England today to check Manchester United out

Lucas Moura had a mixed day on Sunday, he was part of the Brazil squad which beat Belarus 3-1 but he only got on to the pitch with a few minutes left so was unable to have an impact, the situation appeared to anger him and he didn't celebrate with the rest of the team but went over to the press zone immediately and then to the dressing room.

He can have been in no doubt how welcome he would be made at Old Trafford, the ground was full of Brazilian visitors, both those who live locally and ones from further afield, and other locals were kitted out in Brazil gear too. At several times during the second half the Brazilian crowd chanted his name to encourage the manager to bring him on but it didn't seem to help him much.
Afterwards Lucas Moura said that he'd enjoyed the experience but that he wanted to concentrate on the Olympics and would decided his future afterwards. Many of the reports which have suggested a deal is close have said that his family moving to England would be part of any transfer.
A week ago Lancenet said that Lucas Moura wanted a five year contract from Manchester United but also for his family to move to Manchester with him. Today Lancenet say that his parents and five other family members are due in England today and whilst they'll be watching him during the Olympics, Lancenet reckon there's probably more to it than that.
His agent, Wagner Ribeiro, is already in England if Manchester United wanted to a deal then everyone they need to be present is in the country. Lucas Moura is insistent that he wants to wait until after the Olympics to decide what to do but Oscar said that shortly before being unveiled as a Chelsea player.
