Lucas Moura talks continue as Manchester United prepare huge bid

Manchester United are continuing negotiations with Sao Paulo over wonderkid Lucas Moura despite having an opening £20million bid rejected over the weekend.

United boss Sir Alex Ferguson has made the midfielder his top target this summer and has sanctioned the club to blow the remainder of his transfer budget to bring him to Old Trafford.
Ferguson has sent chief scout Jim Lawlor and club secretary John Alexander to Brazil to work on the deal.
They are trying to force a compromise after Sao Paulo snubbed the opening offer and are holding out for £30million.
The Red Devils are desperate to secure Moura's signature in the next few days as they are wary he will not discuss a transfer during the Olympic Games, where he is set for a starring role.
The 19-year-old sensation is due to touch down in London today for training with the Brazilian national team and there might be no better time to wrap up a move.
Inter Milan, AC Milan and Chelsea are long-term admirers of Lucas but have so far been priced out of a move.
Lucas, who is contracted to Sao Paulo until 2015, has a buyout clause worth £66million.
